Support at Home Fees & Pricing — Formerly Home Care Packages
We believe quality care starts with honesty and clarity. That’s why our pricing under the new Support at Home program is simple, transparent, and fair — with no hidden costs, no entry or exit fees, and no surprises.
Your Support at Home Level and Budget
From 1 November 2025, the Australian Government’s Support at Home program replaces the old Home Care Packages. The new Support at Home program has eight funding levels, each based on your care needs. The higher your level, the larger your quarterly budget.
Figures are indicative of 2025–26 indexed budgets. Government price caps to be confirmed in July 2026.

Rollover of Funds Under Support at Home
Under the Support at Home program, any unspent funds are managed carefully and roll over automatically each quarter.
- Unspent funds automatically roll over each quarter to your next budget period.
- You save up to $1,000 or 10% of your quarterly subsidy—whichever is larger.
- Funds must be used within the timeframes outlined by the Support at Home program.
- They can't be withdrawn for personal use or non-approved services.
- Unused funds above the rollover cap return to the program pool each quarter.

Participant Contributions
Under Support at Home, the Government continues to pay most of the cost of your care. Depending on your income and assets, you may be asked to contribute a portion toward certain services.
Important for grandfathered clients:
If you entered aged care before 12 September 2024 and were paying 0% contributions under your Home Care Package, you will continue to pay 0% contributions under Support at Home. In other words, this contributions section does not apply to you.
If you were previously paying an income-tested contribution, you will continue to contribute — however, you will not pay more than you did before, and in many cases will pay less.
Grandfathered clients also retain their current lifetime contribution cap of $82,018.15.
Support contributions fall into three clear categories - helping you stay safe, independent and comfortable at home.

Clinical Care
Clinical services are fully funded by the Government.
- Nursing services
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational therapy
- Podiatry
- Care management
- Restorative care management
Independence Support
Most people contribute a small to moderate amount depending on income.
- Personal care
- Social support & community engagement
- Therapeutic services
- Respite, Transport
- Assistive technology
- Home modifications
Everyday Living
These daily-living supports receive lower government funding, so contributions are higher.
- Domestic assistance
- Shopping assistance
- Home maintenance & repairs
- Light gardening
- Meals
There is also a lifetime contribution cap of $135,318.69 across all government-funded aged care. This means every contribution you make — whether at home or in residential care later — counts toward the same limit.
If you are a grandfathered Home Care Package client, your existing lifetime contribution cap of $82,018.15 is maintained under Support at Home.
